The California Department of General Services publishes the daily California State Contracts Register (CSCR), which announces bid information on state contracts and participating local government and special district contracts.
The OSDC certifies eligible small businesses for the State's five percent bid preference and eligible disabled veteran business enterprises for the State's three percent participation goal program. The Office provides assistance in implementing provisions of the Small Business Procurement and Contract Act, Prompt Payment Act, Target Area Contract Preference Act (TACPA), the Enterprise Zone Act (EZA), and the Local Agency Military Base Recovery Area (LAMBRA) Act.
