MMI is a first class machine shop capable of machining, hydraulic forming, polishing, welding and assembly in one 25,000 square foot facility.
MMI’s equipment is state of the art HAAS vertical milling centers, with manual machine support for tooling and Fixturing as required. MMI has developed unique high speed metal removing processes on parts that fit into an 8” x 8” square. The unique process can run multiple parts and remove metal up to 60,000 RPM depending on the feature to be machined. The volume machined through these modifies work centers range from 1000 – 8000 units per work center per day. For some customers this means less inventory and reduced lead time to get product to market. For other customers it represents a cost saving of 20% to 50% based on quantity of lot size. MMI successfully removed material on Stainless Steel, Cold Roll and Hot Roll, Aluminum, Extrusions, Plastic, Copper, Titanium, Tungsten and many other materials used in aerospace and recreation products.
